DISHA PROGRAM AT PUNE

 

Vatsalya Trust Mumbai under DISHA program participated with Bharat Vikas Parishad, Pune and Rotary Club of Pune Metro for facilitating Artificial Limbs, Caliper and Orthosis.

 

An assessment Camp was held on 22nd May and aids distributed on 19th June.

 

Total 10 patients were evaluated for Orthosis out of which 7 patients were advised surgical corrections and the remaining 3 were provided with aids such as spinal corset, ankle foot orthosis and pedi wraps. About 40 beneficiaries received artificial limbs/calipers with support of Vatsalya Trust.

 

Dr. Ankit, Dr.Hiral and Siddhesh, Orthotician participated from Vatsalya Trust Mumbai.

 

Mr. Girish Kulkarni as a management representative of Vatsalya Trust Mumbai  and Mr Sanjay Gogate, Finance Officer of Vatsalya Trust Mumbai  were present. Mr Girish Kulkarni gave introductory speech.

 

In future, we may conduct many such successful camps in collaboration with  Bharat Vikas Parishad, Pune
